33 weeks

This past Oct 1st was my Dr Appointment we are very excited because we can hear his heartbeat again and the newest thing is to watch the large bulges being pushed up as Triston moved and stretches. Once we are inside the clinic, the nurse took my blood pressure 100/70 which is very normal and my weight is just 131 and the size of my baby is 33. When I listened to his heartbeat I was just  so happy and excited because in 6 weeks I would finally see him. I know I keep on telling my family online or even Greg and my mother in law that I am scared. I mean excited and scared to deliver Triston but all they said was no worries everything will be fine. When I was laying down listening to his heartbeat the midwife told me also that his head is downward and his butt is pointed upward in my tummy so i think his ready to come out hehehe. Well he wants to see the world and Daddy and Mommy are ready for him. His room is almost done...Greg decided to put his crib in our bedroom we just have to set up his crib in our bedroom so that we can hear him whenever he wants something( breastfeeding, change his diapers, attention etc) I wish with God's prayer that I will deliver my baby normally because here in the States  C sections are done more commonly I hope it will not include me. The midwife commented on my delivery she thinks it will not be an early delivery but will be  around the delivery date or later time will only tell and it's all in GOD's hands. So I turned it over to him, well with my next appointment will be Oct 15 due date is coming soon with GOD's help.

Anna is doing very good weight just 2#s up really she has only gained 16#s from the start of her pregnancy. Tummy for the baby a whole 30cm again average BP really good baby heart rate very good what a sound to hear him. Hearing all of this I feel so blessed and lucky that God has allowed us to have a child to raise. Not Sleeping at All

My Baby is growing so fast….I mean literally GROWING BIG in my tummy. At night when I go to bed I feel his heaviness when I sleep in my back and when I sleep on my side He is complaining (movements and punches) so I have to put up with his craziness when I go to sleep. My husband will make me comfortable, like putting a pillow in my back or a back massage or a big fluffy pillow in between my legs at night to make me comfortable. Greg was planning to turn on the whirlpool tub with warm water, soothing music and warm glow of candles like he always does BUT I can’t because I am so tired I will just have to do it tomorrow night. From my condition even the simplest task that 1 takes for granted is not even obtainable what has a new mother can do guess she would rely on the man of her life..When I think about simplest task I am talking about reaching my toes, getting up from the couch or getting out of bed all with Greg’s help. Don’t get me wrong I am enjoying my pregnancy it is a blessing Triston just wants his presence felt by MOMMY.

I am Growing Now

Ok this will be caught up now from the last visit from August 6 2010, like I pointed out just started here to blog about our life as we soon will make a addition to our family. Our visit on the 6th was so exciting again our faces beaming with joy and enthusiasms with the third trimester beginning things are going to become very interesting. Anna begins to become aware of this while the midwife tells us her tummy size of 25 ½ cm average size; weight no great additions but a good weight. Fetal activity now here is the thing of notable mentions; Anna said it is like a acrobatic act in her tummy along with pilates; feet, arms and head every which way. Midwife marks it as active and asks so do you have any other things you would like to ask, Anna remarks yes. Goes on to to ask why is it I eat but I still feel like I never ate Triston must be getting the food I eat through the umbilical cord before I get to feel full. A smile comes to my mouth as the midwife tells her no, that does not happen it just the baby is using more of your energy and nutrition you will just have to eat a bit more often help in the growth of Triston. But other than that she tells us everything else looks good baby is going to grow fast and big in the next 3 months and put on its weight for the birth so eat well small moderate meals plenty of rest don’t overdo it see you in 4 weeks off we go with the feeling like we just got given a south seas island beach house to live in, such joy and pleasure we both feel knowing what a blessing awaits us. So now it is up to Anna or myself to blog daily, weekly maybe even hourly so till next time God Bless.

The Second Best Day

As new parents each day is like Christmas I know what an analogy but it is true new movements new feeling for me the excitement, the joys and smiles. Just to let all of you know my Bana Greg has 30 year old daughters and six grandchildren but even for him it is so fulfilling to watch him with all of the ever changing excitement, joy and serenity that washes over him as me. Every month that goes by brings us one step closer to God’s blessing to join us here as a family July 2 2010 came with such anticipation over whelming emotions we waited to be called into the room for the next ultrasound. You know the one that they count fingers, toes, check heart, lungs, bones as we looked at our baby in the temporary world they occupies is so amazing. Then to voice of the person doing the testing ask would you like to know the gender, oh what a statement to hear, we both have decided before hand we wanted to know. Well as she put it with such positive over reassurance; well you see that little stub sticking up in front of the umbilical cord well it is a boy. At that moment you could have used the take the over whelming emotions and powered a city block for a day I bet you. It’s a boy we both blubbered out his name Triston Andres Carlyle Mudjakatesmith.  From those seconds life will never be the same our son Triston fills our life with joy, movements, strange bumps sticking out, I feel kicks, thumps, pushing and tossing and turning. My son’s life I carry, our son a baby is a gift from God a blessing grant to us to guide this life to make this world a better place.

A Magical Moment

Yes I know all blogger's come in with daily news or even weekly news but just being introduced to blogging watching my wife bouncing around on friend’s blog sites it sparked an interest. With time on my hands what better way to put some creative time in to blogging and documenting this new part of our lives. Just wanted to share the days to the day we found out that magical moment to whom our baby is going to be. As May 7 2010 drew near Anna and I looked to family traditions to our inner voices and listened to our souls for names for a girl and a boy. Well the day came for the first ultrasound giving us a glimpse of our new lives; yes we know we could not find out the gender for a many more weeks but oh what emotions and joys filled the room. As we peered into our baby’s first world with such awe and amazement we begin to find out everything so far is going well for development. This calmed us with great reassurance that God has blessed us and for this we are grateful for this day of this gift and praise him. Now days become more exciting as the days go by the glow Anna shows and baby items are looked for.

Life Changes God's Blessing

It was 6 months ago life changes so unexpectedly there has been so many of these in the past three years; the first came with Greg's heart attacks and open heart surgery. Then it was the move from South Carolina the warm environment and ocean breeze to the northern snowy and cold Wisconsin homestead.  We settled in to the home that we owned here around his family and our boys & girl (cats) getting to know his mother and father. Unfortunately his father had suffered a stroke years ago and I was blessed to get to know him before his passing 18 months ago. With all that has happened God gives unexpected gifts and blessings it was April 9th 2010 that our greatest gift was confirmed a child has been sent by GOD to enhance our family to teach him our values traditions and heritage to make him a better person in the future of the world. This is to bind our families to carry on into the future from both sides to give to the world, to humanity, a future from these blessings.
